Riverside Home Contents Insurance* is an insurance policy available exclusively to our tenants, shared owners & leaseholders to cover their home contents and belongings. Riverside has negotiated a special scheme at extremely favourable rates, and with a wide range of premium payment options. Riverside has made this scheme available to tenants as a service because home contents insurance may not be available in certain postcodes, or if available it may be very expensive.

* The scheme, which is optional to join, is administered for the insurer Royal & Sun Alliance by a company called Direct Group (which writes out as Royal & Sun Alliance). Direct Group issues individual policies to the tenants who apply, collects the premiums, deals with queries, and arranges for settlement of claims. Riverside is not involved in the day-to-day administration of the scheme other than to issue prospectuses to tenants on request.
