What personal information about customers does The Riverside Group gather?


The information we have about our customers helps us improve our service to you. Here are the types of information we gather.
  • Information you give us: You have the ability to ‘Have Your Say’ and ‘Report A Repair’ through The Riverside Group website. The information for both areas of the website notifies Riverside via email (see Email communications below) whereas we store the ‘Have Your Say’ details in our database. This information is not given or sold to any third party vendor.
  • Automatic information: Like many websites, we use ‘cookies’, although these cookies store non-personal information about you. See ‘What about cookies’ below for more details.

  • Email communications: To help us communicate more efficiently with our customers we use emails to be notified when someone has completed a ‘Have Your Say’ or ‘Report A Repair’ form. We only use this email as a reference to understand your issues and help resolve them for you.

  • Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computers’ hard drive through your web browser to enable our systems to recognise your browser. The cookie solely represents a unique identifier of an individual accessing our site. There is no personal information stored on your hard drive.
