Riverside in Community Seven - About Us

Better Together

Community Seven has officially amalgamated with its parent housing association Riverside.

The Riverside Group has undergone a restructure, which has seen eight pre-existing housing associations, including Community Seven, be amalgamated into a single entity known as Riverside.

The result is an organisation with the strengths of a national player but the personal touch of a local provider.

The reorganisation makes savings which will allow us to invest more money into improving our homes and local service delivery.

Riverside is the primary landlord in Kensington, Liverpool. The office in this area of the city is also known as Community Seven.

We are the Registered Social Landlord for the area and work alongside the local community and Liverpool City Council and other agencies in order to make the Kensington New Deal happen.

This government-backed initiative has brought about vital changes to homes and neighbourhoods creating a better place to live and work. Riverside's investment in the community and facilities are improving the quality of life of all residents in Kensington.

Homes

Riverside has a range of homes, from small, two-up-two-down terraces, to modern family houses, apartments and bungalows. Recently Liverpool City Council tenants voted to transfer the management of their properties to us. A series of schemes to improve many of the properties in the Community Seven area are now being put in place.

Initiatives

Riverside is committed to supporting the local community in their activities. It provides help and advice to community organisations, tenants and residents associations, and by funding projects through our Community Chest Fund.
