Riverside - Riverside Invests £25,000 into New Community Facility at Inglewood School.

Riverside Carlisle has invested £25,000 into the new Community Room at Inglewood School in Harraby.

The newly constructed building is a real addition to Harraby residents, allowing local groups, businesses and clubs to access a state of the art, energy efficient and IT equipped facility at the heart of their community.

The project will be run as a separate entity to the school and has its own entrance and parking. It is open outside regular school hours and is also available on weekends.

Riverside Board Member, Cllr Joe Hendry was at the opening. He said, “I am truly delighted that this project has come into fruition. The building will be a real boost for the young mothers and children of Harraby and will be a fantastic new facility for both Riverside tenants and residents of Harraby and further afield.”

Amanda Evans is the Head teacher at Inglewood Primary School. She said, “We are delighted with the financial help we have received from Riverside. Without their assistance we would have struggled to provide this Community Facility for the people of Harraby.”
